The monkey's ex's keep showing up and ruining the kid and monkey's fun. This involves another monkey, a spider, and probably a lion but we'll get to that.

I was thinking about Kuina more than average and I came up with this concuction.

So you often see that in many Modern AUs you have Perona and Zoro being Mihawk's adoptive children, and while I like this what if Kuina 2as also his adoptive daughter???

Imagine, you have Zoro being an orphan from a young age so he gets taken in by his relatives. But then something horrible happens (could be Kuina's mom dying or Koushiro kills her since everybody seems to agree he is murder coded) so Kuina and Zoro are taken away by CPS and are assigned to Mihawk, who had already adopted Perona. (I hc that Moria would be her bio dad, and he lost custidy due to his experiments on corpses and other stuff)

What we get is a sit-com like dinamic of middle aged single parent swordsman with 3 kids: one is goth, one is insane, one is bith and they are all gay.

I think that Kuina would really like Mihawk since he would teach her and not discriminate (as far as we know) and he would also reconize that Kuina is a better pupil than Zoro, which would add another layer to their rivarly and relationship.

Plus Perona and Kuina being vastly different older sister who are the two opposing extemes on the lesbian spectrum but still come togheter for each other when they need it and to annoy their dumb little brother would be so funny to me. I think Kuina would protect Perona from bullies and general pricks and they would both do wierd shit togheter like mutilate their Barbies to scare people.

I think Kuina would really get along with Zoro's friends siblings, obviously Ace and maybe also Sabo since they both reject the bigoted values that some people impose, but I think she would like Nojiko as well. The two of them both know the horrors of the real world so I think they would use some of the darkest humor ever with each other. And all of them would obviously keep talking about their siblings, that can't be avoided.

I also think Kuina might be Sanji's rival too. After all he treats women vastly different from men (even if its with benevolent intentions) and Kuina woukd interprete thus as Sanji thinking women are weak. So its Zoro and Kuina coming togheter against their shared rival: swirly eyebrowed dumb cook. But ironically Kuina would be fond of the dumb cook's boyfriend, after all Usopp is also a very underrated genious who defyes people's expectation to prove himself as strong and worthy.

Bonus headcanon: Yamace and Hiyoku double dates. Wlw and mlm solidariety at its finest.

AAAAAAA I love all of this. It's awesome. I just know Kuina and Perona would be complete opposites but would love and protect each other a lot. Like, they're weird in their own ways. People don't like Perona because she's all dark and creepy and with a very princess-like personality and people don't like Kuina much because she doesn't fall in the standard men have for women and swordsmen. So they fit together perfectly even though they're different. And they'd take care of Zoro and also make fun of him 24/7. This is great. Also, Mihawk be adopting children every fucking where. I don't know if I should be sorry for him or not. At least his family is cool. Perona is his princess <3 Kuina is his fav pupil!! And Zoro is Zoro. He's just Zoro.

This is basically the situation:

And yes, Kuina would definitely not stand Sanji but love Usopp. I agree completely. Their views don't match at all but well, Sanji can live with it (he can't. He's crying).

AND YAMACE AND HIYOKU DOUBLE DATES!!!!!!!! CUTE!!!!!!!!! It'd be a bit chaotic, honestly. Both couples have such a different energy 😭😭 Ace might seem a bit more relaxed but the second Yamato goes insane about something, he probably does too if he likes it. So I can definitely imagine Kuina like "I wanted this to be an actual date,, I am sorry, I should've thought about this better-" and Hiyori would just laugh softly at Yamace's shenanigans because she's having the time of her life.

If Nobara and Nanako met….

Something I don’t see the jjk fandom talk about enough is the fact that if Nobara and Nanako ever met (and assuming Nanako knew Nobara used jujutsu), they would have instantly become besties.

Like, they both have such similar sassy personalities and would def be the girls to gossip behind the school during lunch. Nobara complains about how annoying her guy friends (Yuji and Megumi) are while Nanako vents about her overbearing cult family and introverted sister.

They also both come from country side villages filled with prejudiced people, so they’d understand each other’s struggles and I think Nobara would love befriending other girl sorcerers (that is assuming she doesn’t yet know Nanako is a curse user).

And even after they find out they’re technically enemies, it’d be cute if they still continued hanging out in secret and go shopping together on weekends, do each other’s makeup, nails, hair, and gossip what’s happening with each other’s friends/family.

The other members of Geto’s cult look at Nanako happily texting away at her phone and wonder who she’s always texting. Meanwhile at jujutsu tech, Yuji asks who Nobara is talking to on the phone so excitedly, only to be shushed by her.

OR they can end up as rivals

Nobara (obviously) doesn’t like her new friend’s belief that all non-sorcerers should be exterminated and this pits them against each other and get into a huge argument.

Later that night, Nanako angrily talks about “this annoying Bob-haired country girl” she met while shopping as Manami is brushing her hair, nodding along as she vents. Meanwhile, Nobara complains about some “snobby gyaru curse user on the streets” to a confused and slightly worried Yuji and Megumi as she paints her nails.

I think if Geto was still alive, he would have chuckled and found it amusing to listen to his daughter talk about this mysterious sorcerer girl who’s caught her attention. He might have to meet her himself the next time he “visits” the school.

Whether they’re besties or enemies, I just think their dynamic would be so cute and interesting if they ever got to meet. That’s all!

So aside for the author throwing in things just to be cool, what do you think is going on with the Rosengarten heroes in their titular poem? Gibich, Gunther, Hagen, Gernot, Siegfried, and Ortwin are a given -- the family that fights together, after all. And Volker is a Burgundian mainstay too. Walther...I guess he was allowed to come hang out with his friends, even after maiming both Hagen and Gunther, because friends don't hold a little maiming against each other. Asprian is a giant who pops up both as friend and enemy to various heroes across the legendary timeline. Schrutan is named as a Hunnic knight in the Nibelungenlied, but maybe Kriemhild brought him along with her as some sort of bodyguard? Studefuchs turns up as one of Dietrich's knights in his exile stories. Pusolt seems to be a random guy unless you interpret him as Dietrich's frenemy Fasolt. So what's going on? Did Asprian and Studenfuchs leave the Burgundians after the fight with Dietrich? And there's the fact that in non-Rosengarten materials, Asprian, Schrutan, and Studenfuchs (and maybe Pusolt) are honest to god Jotun/giants/trolls who aren't just being exaggerated as literary license. Is everyone just okay with this?

Tbh, I tend to think of the Rosengarten as kind of... the Beach Episode of Germanic epics. You know, the old style filler episode that doesn't move the plot along or give that much new insight into the themes of the story, but it has character that wouldn't usually meet ourside of some specific context coming together to have a day of wacky adventures? There's so much weird stuff in it that I can't help but see it that way. XD *gestures wildly in the general direction of Ilsan's general existence*

I especially love thinking about Hagen and Walther in that context/mood, actually. The Waltharius ending is already either very touching in a very bittersweet way or simply hilarious, depending on if you take it as a case of using gallows humor to cope or just being Like That even normally, with them having literally just mutilated each other and being already cracking inappropriate jokes at each other's expense ("Don't you think it might a bit perverse, embracing Hildegund with your left hand?" "Aren't you worried that now, whenever you look at another knight, they're gonna think you're looking at them sideways because you don't trust them?"), so I enjoy thinking about everyone else expecting a dramatic confrontation between them only for them to be like... whatever the manly warrior hero equivalent of "OMG HI BESTIE *waves excitedly*" even is, I guess, at each other.

And also about Hagen really, really not wanting to even take part in Kriemhild's silly tourney (as, iirc, he disses the whole idea of it in at least one manuscript) and Walther showing up being one of the few bright spots in it for him.

And also, due to a couple of lines in the Waltharius about the "famous harmony" between Hagen and Walther and about Hagen clinging to Walther's embrace and having to force himself to let go of it to flee the land of the Huns and go back to Worms, about the two of them taking any occasion to sneak away to chat together when they're not the ones fighting even if they're supposed to be on rival "teams"...

So to me that's like... do I have any idea why Walther's even there? No. But do I have this ridiculous mental image of Dietirch somehow meeting him along the way and starting to say "so, anyway, we're going to Worms for.." only to Walther to immediately go "Worms, you said?! Man, I haven't seen Hagen in ages, can I come with you guys?" before he even finishes that sentence? Absolutely.

All the people who turn out to be giants and other supernatural beings are, like, an "okay, this might as well happen today in this poem. Hildebrand's just pretended to be dad so Dietrich would get angry enough to spit fire at Siegfried, making Siegfried cower and hide under Kriemhild's veil, after all" deal to me. I suppose it might come down to different traditions that kind of got lost around the way, but I remember reading somewhere years ago about a version of the Rosengarten where all the knights on Team Worms were referred to as giants, so who knows, it might be literary exaggeration, it might be a new take that didn't, well, take. As for the Hunnic knights, I find your ideas fascinating and think they have a lot of potential, but usually, I just write it off as the same kind of weirdness. The "Dietrich can spit fire and Hildebrand is not above playing dead to mess with him" thing itself fits just too well with the overall weirdness of both characters for me to dismiss it, however, so.... yeah, that one can definitely stay and be a whole thing in my headcanons. XD

Naegamigiri/Naegirigami/Tonaegiri/B&K SETTLE SOME THINGS (AKA THE TOGIRI SIDE OF THINGS AND HOW THEY DEVELOPED FROM HATING EACH OTHER TO BEING BESTIES!!111!!!)

Have my own interpretation on the Togiri sector of the poly trio so I wanted to delve a bit more into it cus why not!! AHEM!

Initially, Byakuya and Kyoko did not like each other very much and constantly have their quarrels. Byakuya found Kyoko irritating with her intellect and proved to be an intellectual rival. Specifically a rival he did not predict to have nor want. He had that sort of assumption that he would be the best in the school with no one to challenge him. Meanwhile, Kyoko saw Byakuya as, for one, a douche, but also someone who believed that they were smarter than they actually where. Basically, she was able to see the flaws he was blinded to right before his eyes. So, essentially, these two glared at each other in pure judgment. This stage lasts a good while.

However, this stage eventually morphs into something new. It probably varies changes from the canon to a non-despair au to some other kind of au though I believe that the core of this change for them is the understanding of one another after Kyoko takes him down a few pegs. Byakuya's not every happy about this outcome at the beginning and can tell that Kyoko had some enjoyment in ticking him off. Byakuya being put down a few pegs also makes him question his himself and his life trajectory which he also doesn't like.

Thus, this is not a quick process as these two are not just going to click right off the bat despite their many similarities. This is especially the case because the two were at each other for a good while. They will have to have some time before they start improving their relations for the better. Kyoko would have to be in an area of her development where she's interacting more with the others willingly, Basically, Kyoko's gotta be in the state where whe is willing to try human connections again. Also, Byakuya would have to let his thoughts fester a bit before he too slowly begins to interact more with the others not as a dick but slightly less of a dick.

As time progresses, the two slowly start to see eye to eye more with the help of Makoto being a sorta mediator for them. Plus, he's not one to want his friends to hate each other so he might attempt to do something to help. The two potentially have this realization by themselves too, probably realizing that this is getting nowhere for them. Perhaps this hate is just doing them no good. Something like that or maybe something a bit different. It all depends. Or just like, maybe some other things happened too like their realization that they are cut from similar cloths with flawed families and baggage. And daddy issues depending on how one reads Byakuya and his relationship with his father since that is entirely up to interpretation since his relationship with his dad is unknown. Kyoko def has daddy issues though. So, basically, they make a truce.

This is then the beginning of the two starting to know each other more and slowly supporting one another perhaps as a support systems. This once again varies from canon, non-despair, and any au one may have for them. What matters though is that they are here for one another and are much closer than they were when they started.

Bam! Their enemies to friends journey is complete!!

Okay. I've been sitting on this one for a couple days. Wanted to see more of the family dynamic before planting the idea in your head 😅 But I was initially inspired by the rivals to best friends to lovers fic with Shoto (thank you, again). Anyway...

Shoto and "spending time with each other's family, with the family constantly pointing out how good you would be together because you're just that compatible"

In my head it's a relatively complete Todoroki family, but just Fuyumi and Natsuo would also be good. Also in my head it's an extension/elaboration of that first fic, but you know I'm down for whatever lands in your head 😝

Pairing: Shoto Todoroki x F!Reader

A/N: Since your ask was inspired by the rivals to besties to lovers... I present to you... this f*ckin' thing!

Seriously, I probably put too much thought into this but enjoy some background of these two goofballs.

I headcanon Shoto having a stutter that comes out when he's too emotional/nervous. IF YOU AREN'T CAUGHT UP ON THE ANIME OR MANGA SOMETHING MIGHT BE SPOILED. I also didn't really proof this so sorry...

Readers parents are reporters/journalists. Reader has a quirk that allows her to adapt her body to situational needs.

Warnings: SMUT (just some cute sexy times but still minors DNI), swearing, very slight temperature play, undertones of standard Todoroki family trauma.

Six Years Old

Shoto and you walked side by side out of your classroom at the end of the day to wait for your parents and his dad to come to collect you both. But, the minutes ticked by, children ran along, until it was only you and Shoto left.

"My father probably had to deal with bad guy stuff and didn't tell my sister to get me today..." He sat with his chin resting on his knees.

"If it's bad enough, my parents are probably reporting on the bad guy stuff." You were right beside him, pushing pebbles together between your feet.

"Sho!" A spiky white-haired boy came rushing out from the school. He was dressed in a jersey, ready for practice, "Why are you still here?"

Shoto merely shrugged, "I don't know. No one came to get me."

His older brother shook his head. "Dad forgot to call Fuyumi's school again. Big surprise. Wait on the playground and if no one's come to get you, we'll walk home together after practice, okay?"

"What about Y/N?" He called back.

"We'll walk her home first!"

He nodded and let Natsuo run after the other boys.

You two dumped your bags beside the swing set, Shoto settling for taking a seat on one of them while you took off up one of the ramps. "Come play with me, Roki!"

"I'm not supposed to play, remember?"

You stopped giggling and hopping to give him a pointed glare. "Fine. We won't play, we'll train."

He looked up at you suspiciously, "Train how?"

This had to be worded carefully or you knew Shoto wouldn't go for it. "You're a hero and I'm a villain, heroes have to catch villains, so catch me!"

"That's easy, if you were a villain, I'd just freeze you in place and then you'd be caught."

Why did he have to bring logic into everything? There had to be a way to get him to just be a kid.

"You make it sound like I'd be easy to catch! But, if you need something harder, don't use your quirk. If you touch me, then I'm caught." It was tag, you were convincing him to play a game of tag with you cleverly disguised as training that his father could potentially approve of and Shoto took the bait.

"When do we start?"

"Right... NOW!"

Two-toned eyes went wide, watching you jump and squeeze your way through a gap to climb up on top of the slide. "You're so far away! Be careful!"

"I'm a villain, Roki! You'll never catch me!"

He raced up the slide, forgoing standard playground rules for tactics he'd been taught. Getting to someone quickly was more important, take the fastest route possible. Shoto hoisted himself up onto the roof of the playset just in time to watch you slip down over the other side, a fit of giggles in your wake.

But, you didn't drop into the playset, instead, you balanced along one side of the monkey bars, arms splayed wide while you hurried across and Shoto stopped dead in his tracks. "Y/N! That's n-not safe! You could fall!"

"No kindness for bad guys! You gotta catch me Sh-"

Just as he feared, your foot slipped and your hands flayed. He shot out a slide of ice, letting you ride it down to the mulch below. "Y-you're not a b-bad guy! You could have been real-ly hurt!"

It was the first time you'd seen Shoto so worked up. "Roki... my quirk-"

"Your adapt-ting isn't th-that fast!"

He was right, any situation you put yourself in, your body needed roughly a minute to respond and alter to your specific needs. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. But, if we're gonna be heroes then we gotta be ready for tricky stuff."

That look in his eyes wasn't going away. You couldn't tell if it was anger... or fear, all you knew was how much you didn't like it. "Come on, let's keep playing. I'll catch you this time and I won't go climbing where I shouldn't."

It took him a minute before agreeing.

You'd been chasing Shoto for another twenty minutes when a familiar voice called your name. Your father, with his large grin, walked from the sidewalk, "Sorry, kid, you know the bad guys don't always care when we gotta snatch you from school." He spun you around in his arms when you jumped on him, "Grab your bag. Let's make sure dinner's on the table when mama gets home."

"Daddy, no! I can't leave Todoroki by himself."

Your dad looked over where Shoto stood alone, watching the two of you. "You're right, kiddo, we sure can't." He walked by your side over to him. "Shoto, right? My daughter has told me a lot about you."

Shoto just nodded, not knowing what to say, "We don't have to rush home, keep playing around."

"We weren't playing," Shoto corrected him before you could tug him away, "We're training!"

Your father just laughed, watching the two of you go around and around.

Another half-hour flew by, your father just sitting on a bench enjoying watching his daughter and the boy she'd been chattering endlessly about for weeks.

Being a reporter, he knew exactly who the young man was, who his father was and all he could do was hope the man's piss poor attitude didn't extend to his home life too.

He didn't have much hope though, not after learning about the accident that claimed the life of his eldest son, his wife being sent away, or the burn that suddenly appeared on little Shoto's face just last year.

If anyone was able to see past all that madness though he knew it was you. You'd been a ray of determined sunlight from the moment you came into his life, never giving up on anyone or anything.

"You've got some nerve," He turned to the deep voice and narrowed blue eyes, "Showing up at my son's school, watching him like some damn creep, what the fu-"

"You will watch your temper around these children, Todoroki, got it?"

"How dare you!"

"My daughter is playing with her friend."

"My son doesn't have time for friends."

You and Shoto came jogging over, "He's not my friend," All three sets of eyes were now on you. One thrilled, another stunned, and the final, oh, they looked broken, "Todoroki and I are not friends, we train together every day at school during breaks and in class when allowed. 'Cause, we're gonna be heroes one day, and that means all the training we gotta do it. Right, Todoroki?" You bumped his shoulder.

"R-right, yeah, w-we train."

Your father put a hand on your shoulder when Enji Todoroki set his sights on you. "You want to be a hero?"

"Yes, sir."

"It isn't easy, hard work, all the time. Shoto trains every single day."

"I know."

"So does my daughter." Your father added.

"Shoto, does she keep up with you?"

"Uh, yes, s-sir. She u-uses more hand-to-hand styles th-though."

"You need to work on that." His gaze rose, "Your daughter is welcome over on weekends only if she'd like to use our facility."

"We'll discuss it." He picked you up, setting you on his knee, "She's been doing just fine, but, who am I to keep her from her training partner?"

You wiggled before getting to the sidewalk, remembering you had a book Shoto had needed and running it over to him while he waited for his dad to get Natsuo. "Hey, did-did you really mean th-that w-we aren't friend-ds?"

You made sure his dad wasn't looking before giving Shoto a quick hug, "Silly, Roki, of course, we're friends. But, your dad doesn't like friends... so partners and rivals?"

There was the smallest smile on his face, "Partners and rivals."

Thirteen Years Old

The door to the Todoroki's training room slammed open. You and Shoto lay on the floor with heads side by side, chest heaving, sweat clinging to the both of you. "He's gone for the weekend!" Natsuo announced with a cheer, "Whoa, what have you two been doing in here?"

"Training," Shoto told his brother while he tried inclining on his elbows, "Like, we do multiple times a week."

"So that's what the kids are calling it now. Got it, cool, cool," Both you and Shoto shot him a look, "Anyways! I'm having some friends over but I just wanted to let you guys know you could like, relax for once if you wanted."

It was rare you got the chance to hang out with Shoto at his house and not need to be in constant fight/study mode. But, here was the perfect opportunity. Shoto glanced over at you. "Would you want to have dinner and maybe, um, I-I'm not sure."

Natsuo laughed from the doorway, "It's dinner and a movie, Sho. I know you don't really get to be a teenager but, you should at least know how to ask someone out!"

"Wait, b-but I'm not, I'm not asking you out. Just dinner and... movie, as partners."

Flustered Shoto Todoroki was one of the best things to witness. "I know, Sho. Dinner and movies sound good. Can I shower though?"

He nodded, letting you go off while he sought a shower of his own. His sister was in the kitchen when he walked out, a towel still drying his white hair. "I hear someone has a date," She beamed and kept babbling before he could get a word in, "I started making her favorite for dinner, I'll tell her it was your idea though. I've been waiting for this day!"

"Fuyumi! It's not a date! It's j-just Y/N and I eating dinner."

"And watching a movie."

"Y-yes, that too. But, it's just friends, don't make this into so-something weird."

She looked over the rim of her glasses with a sneaky grin. "You're stuttering, Shoto."

He sealed his lips tight and begged her to do the same when he heard the bathroom door open.

Fifteen Years Old

"Sho, there's no way. I barely took down like three of those robots. Other people were cutting them down left and right!"

Your head fell on the table, the envelope from UA still unopen between your fingers. He had nothing to worry about, accepted thanks to recommendations but you, you weren't so lucky.

You gave it your absolute best though, pushing yourself to what felt like your limits in hopes of being accepted but, hell, all you'd really managed to do was help some other examines that had fallen into a man-made river during the test. After they were safe, you only had time to take down a couple robots that were nearly dropped anyways.

The envelope was plucked from your fingers. "What are you doing?"

"Do you want to open it?" Shoto asked.

You shook your head, "But, I don't want you opening it either!"

"I can ask your mother to, she's just in the den, right?" He was already up from the table.

"That's not what I meant, Shoto and you know it!"

You stood behind the sofa and he was in front of it, mirroring your steps with a smirk. "Well, I want to know. Because said we're partners, rivals, I can't just go to a school where you're not."

"You can't just open my mail either! That's like illegal or something! Not very hero-like."

"I'm not a hero yet." He ripped the envelope open and you lunged over the sofa at him making him abandon the letter in order to catch you. "That was very dramatic-" Your attention was stolen by a hologram appearing sideways of a tiny bear? A mouse? Oh, he talked.

Shoto righted it and it wasn't long before your entire house was filled with cheers. Still on the floor, you hugged Shoto tight, his arms circling around you, "Told you, you'd get in."

Your mother had heard the bickering a few minutes ago but stayed in the hallway to let you work things out yourself. Ready to assist if only you asked but, Shoto was there for you, just as he always was. She watched you chase him around the living room like you'd done as little kids, saw you launch yourself at him like the kids you still were.

She hid a soft smile when you cheered and wrapped your arms around him, thanking him for all the support and help he'd given, listening to him return the sentiment.

Through the evening celebrations, she swore she could see the future unfolding before her eyes, faster than it ever had before.

How he held every door open for you, listened whenever you spoke, the way he looked at you when you were talking about everything you hoped to achieve.

And how you reached for his arm when crossing the street, scooted closer so he could put his arm around you when a brisk wind blew, how you watched him when he was busy doing something else, it filled your mother with so much warmth.

"So, are you going to ask him out or wait for him to do it?" She asked as you got ready for bed that night.

"MOTHER!"

She just laughed and walked down the hall to her own room and wondered if you'd have a fall or winter wedding.

Seventeen Years Old

The chatter faded into background noise once you were in the kitchen. Grabbing a glass and filling it to the brim with water and hoping it would loosen whatever this ache was in your chest.

It was supposed to be a fun holiday break. Endeavor was at some hero conference so most of your class planned for a sleepover at Shoto's to celebrate the holiday. And still, something pulled inside, wasn't settling, wouldn't ease up-

"Are you alright, Y/N?"

Fuyumi stood just a few feet from you, worry creased between her brows. "Yeah. Oh yeah, I'm fine, just getting some water!"

"I've known you for over a decade now, I think I can tell when you're lying." You took a long sip, trying to think up something to say so you could get out of this. "I overheard some of the girls talking, saying they think my baby brother has a crush... I'm guessing you think so too?"

Again, you didn't say anything and so she placed her hand gently on your forearm. "Shoto might have a crush, but, I don't think my brother will ever look at anyone else the way he looks at you."

Her words didn't relieve the ache in you, only added yet another layer because it was becoming very apparent that you weren't sure you could look at anyone else the way you looked at him either...

Twenty Years Old

You laid in the quiet of Shoto's bedroom after your run, the shower you shared, with your chin on his chest, cool fingers making lazy patterns over your skin. "My mother is going to be insufferable when she finds out about us." You grumbled.

His laugh was low but absolutely perfect, "I think my sister's going to be worse."

With a jolt, you shot up, hands beside his head. "What's your father going to say? All these years of being your not-friend! He's going to have a fit!"

He just rolled his eyes and flipped you both over, strands of red and white hair falling in your face, his nose brushing against yours. "It's a good thing that fourteen years has made me care a whole lot less about what Endeavor thinks."

Shoto's lips met yours for what felt like the hundredth time that night, slow and easy, using a knee to nudge your legs apart for him again while he worked his way down your jaw, down your neck, "Can we wait to tell them, just for a day or two?" You cocked a brow at him even though he was still trailing down your body, "They're all so nosy, I just want you to myself for a day or two." He kissed between your breasts, "Maybe a week if you let me." Lower his lips ventured, "We don't even have to leave this apartment..."

His tongue, cooled to a temperature he quickly figured out you preferred, licked a lazy line making your answer turn into a needy whine. "Sorry? Was that a, 'yes, Sho, that sounds like the best idea you've ever had?' Yes, yes, I know it is."

As soon as you opened your mouth, he pulled your hips so his tongue was flat on your core, holding you tightly to him. Your hands fisted the silky sheets, letting him have his way with you yet again. He'd bring you close to the edge only to back off, "Did you say you want to stay here for two weeks? Even better, darling." And he'd start all over again.

It took him only minutes to have you crying his name again, kissing his way back up to your face. "You have- a- very- persuasive argument," Panting, trying to come down from your high, "Let's just tell 'em the next time we see them," Your hips wiggled against him, despite how many times you'd already fucked you still wanted more, "If we don't see them for a couple months, eh, who cares?"

Three-Days Later

"Pay up! I said before they were 21!" Your mother was boasting to your father.

"Technically, Shoto turned 21 last month." Rei pointed out with a smile while Endeavor just shook his head at the antics.

Fuyumi was already asking Shoto how he was planning on proposing, turning the poor man into a stuttering pre-teen again.

"WAIT!" Natsuo slammed his cup down on the table, "You mean, you guys haven't been together since you were like thirteen!" He started listing off all the couple-y things you two did, the flirting and little banter, he'd witness while Fuyumi patted his shoulder.

"They're together now, that's all that matters."

Oh anon, buckle up.

They both were born in 1996, only a few months apart and an hour car drive from one another.

They met when they were around 6 and spent all of their karting career together, becoming best friends.

There was a time Este was at Pierre’s home three times a week, and Pierre has an old blog from when he was a kid where he talked about Este even borrowing him an engine once when Pierre’s own broke.

Pierre also mentioned them karting when it was snowing when they were 8/9, getting inside to warm up together before driving even more rounds.

At one point, their friendship fell apart (probably around the time they were 13). Pierre has said it is because he started winning and Esteban couldn’t stand that. Esteban is silent about their rivalry and calls it a personal matter.

To be fair, both of them really needed sponsors to keep going, and so they both had to not only fight for race wins to earn money, but get approval of sponsors to continue, which of course added to the tension between them.

Este’s parents had sold their house to make Este’s dream possible; Pierre’s parents’ money also started running thin, so the families were in direct competition to one another.

After Formula Renault, their ways separated until they met again in Formula 1.

Pierre said they can talk as long as it is not about racing, and that they still respect one another, but their relationship became toxic.

As you can see, we only really know Pierre’s side of this story. Pierre also is the one who regularly discusses it - he talks about it on Beyond the Grid, even making a joke how it sounds like Este is his ex girlfriend - and a while ago in an Alpha Tauri video, where he called Este his biggest rival and how their rivalry was and still is intense.

When Pierre got to Formula 1, they interacted sometimes - often Stoffel Vandoorne was with them as well, and it seems like both were friends with him - but later on, when racing one each other, it came to clashes again. The highlight was the French GP 2018, the first one in France since years, and they crashed in Lap 1 and both DNF’ed. Pierre even joked that at least this way, they had to talk to one another again because they had to go to the stewards.

Pierre also explicitly stated they aren’t friends (*insert brocedes comparison here*)

Also at a gala in 2018, Este cut Pierre out of his pic, and 10 minutes later, Pierre did the same asdlkjads (pic below)

But it seems like there is a tentative spark to interact again, seen with them congratulating each other on podiums (still not following one another though lmao), bumping fists, and talking together during some of the driver parades. Both of them being GP winners in F1 might have helped. There is, naturally, still some animosity left, but we will see there this goes. And I hope that we might get to hear Este’s side as well.

Netflix filmed with him, so maybe … but we have to wait.

Pierre: “[We were] almost like brothers because honestly, at the time when you’re young, you need to drive all the time… and all the time together. I think in the end it was really good. It pushed us massively. We both have a really competitive mindset and, of course, we were really friends at the time and we really wanted to beat each other.”

Indian BLs WIPs

So, months ago I joked around with the idea of writing Indian BLs and bestie, I don't think it's a joke anymore. I don't know how it happened but over the course of these few months I've plot bunnied my way into over 20 Indian BL ideas. Each unique in Indian entertainment as well as in any BL. Mind you I won't be revealing every one of those ideas here. I don't want to promise something I might not end up finishing for a couple years, if not longer.

This is a list of Indian BLs that I have fully outlined and an ready to start writing. I am currently doing preptober for Kimhan AU.

So let's start there,

Kimhan AU

Months ago when Kinnporsche started airing, I'd just got to my college dorms and I came up with a scene of a girl fighting minions and standing over them, shirt open, heaving and angry. Her 'bodyguards' come and she yells at them for being terrible at their jobs. I was looking for a place to put the scene among my other WIPs but it didn't make sense anywhere. It stayed on the backburner for months until - I was in the supermarket and I met some Gujarati people (Context: I am currently living in Germany for my Masters but I am from Gujarat). And we started talking. Afterwards I realized how I'd lied, not really a lie, but like changed in how I talked to people compared to how I did back in India. And as a certified overthinker I did what any overthinker would do - I overthunk. Which lead to this idea of a character who presents as sweet and innocent but really is very sharp. Around the same time I'd read a Kimchay meta about how Chay isn't as sweet as he seems and Kim isn't as un-affected as he seems and that played in my head and that was how this ended up being called Kimhan AU. This doesn't really have anything to do with kinnporsche, it's just tangentially inspired by it. (Kinnporsche was something, wasn't it? I have 7 works that are tangentially inspired by something that happened in Kinnporsche or a meta someone wrote)

Anyway, Meet the Characters -

Kim (F, 25) is the youngest of an Indian Mafia family. She has just arrived at her dorms with Big (I am still using temp names. I like names to come to me instead of going to them), her bodyguard and oldest friend. Her dad wants her to keep an eye on P (I dubbed her Princess coz she is the heir i.e. Princess of the rival mafia family). The families have hated each other since an event, years ago, that lead to the death of their first children. Kim doesn't know why she must endure this but after what she did a few weeks ago, she has no choice.

Type (F, 22/23)meets the most beautiful woman she has ever seen at the supermarket once and she can't stop talking about her, to the frustration of her new friends. When she sees her again at the college cafeteria she calls out "Didi". She is the awesomest person Type has ever met, beauty and brains. But then Type finds out she is gay. Type is a good Indian Girl. This gay bullshit is just bullshit. Aisa kuch nahi hota (something like this doesn't exist). And why would Kim need to like a woman when she is so beautiful she could get any man?

[A/N: Let's just say she is in for a surprise. So I had just watched Ep 1 of TharnType when I wrote her and you can clearly see the influence. Type is someone who constantly puts her foot in her mouth and I think that's awesome.]

Big's (27, M) family has served Kim's family for years but sometimes he feels like he could kill Kim any second, especially when she knows his weaknesses and tells the very persistent, very beautiful boy in his dorm how to seduce him. Big has never had any moral issues with doing bad things but a relationship with a 19 year old is where he draws the line. He remembers being 19, he remembers the arrogance and the stupidity and the regret.

K (19, M) was supposed to focus on getting his bachelors. Which was all fine and good and then the most handsome man walked into his dorm room and he wants him carnally. Problem is Big won't stay in the same room for more than a minute which meant Kim had told him. Now how was he supposed to seduce him? But with that Adonis body comes something strange. He's heard him talk about shipments and products and protections.

[A/N: KimType are the fun couple and BigK are the not-fun couple, if you didn't already get that. I was watching Minato Coin Laundry at the time. So...]

Cult

Another tangentially inspired by Kinnporsche. This time it's Vegas Theerapanyakul. but a woman. No murder, just the general sense of 'What the fuck is wrong with them?'

Confession: Some parts of the narrative are real life experiences.

Hetakshi was bored. It had been 6 months of getting her Masters degree which she did well enough (not that her parents would agree unless it was 90% +), but there was nothing to do. The thought hit her so hard she was thrown back into the past - She was on the plane to Germany watching a movie when she thought - What if I start a cult? Wouldn't that be funny? So queue up your inspirational music this socially anxious introvert is going to start a cult. But how? She asked google. She learned, she practiced, she gaslight, gatekeeped and girlbossed. And then she met her -

Sachee didn't understand why she cared so damn much about this one person than she had anyone her whole life. Perhaps it was because she didn't understand her. Hetakshi was...complex. Confident and cocky and sad and soft and rude and shy with the brightest smile and the saddest eyes. It was as she(Hetakshi) slept on the floor of Sachee's dorm room did she(Sachee) realize her feelings might be more than friendship. So what is a Gen-Zer supposed to so when they don't understand something - Google Zinda bad (a hindi victory cheer)

[A/N: You kinda have to stay with this one till the end to truly understand everything. There is a lot of religious symbolism that I don't know how to get into a premise. It's parallels. It's Yin and Yang. It's a study of human nature, of love. A beauty and the beast narrative.]

On to lighter topics. A Indian Food BL coz I saw Old Fashion Cupcake and I have no self control.

Youtube wasn't a thing he'd thought about, ever. Until the pandemic hit and he had all the time in the world to pass. Charu has just been qualified for shorts and he's trying to find a style. Tirth, his videographer, suggests a review of street food in Ahmedabad. They idea is good and they both like it but really it's just an excuse to spend more time together. Charu doesn't want to trouble anyone's life, he is happy just to watch and help even as he hates every second Tirth flirts with other people. Tirth's liked Charu since he's friend passed him the box of sweets he made. He knows what people think about him - about how he moves and how many people he sleeps with. He'd learned to lean into it. [A/N: This is very tongue and cheek, fun, light-hearted, classic Uni-set Thai BL narrative but in India. No brains needed here. There are others but for now these are the three big ones. I'm going to be doing Kimhan for Nanowrimo. Hopefully I have some sort of a book by the end that I can send publishers. (If you know anyone, please help me) It would take me a year to fully finish all three, if I am consistent and diligent and don't fall into a spiral and if my immune system doesn't kill me first.

I am planning on writing in English and Hindi. Coz there are dialogues that you just can't do justice in English and there are other things that I only know how to do in English. Like my username says - I'll fuck around and find out.
